Chicago Math & Science Academy has notched 2 Divisional HS Girls Volleyball Championships, 1 HS Girls Basketball Tournament Championship (CONCEPT SCHOOLS, CLEVELAND ST.), 1 Divisional HS Boys Soccer Championship (CPS Quarterfinal), 1st ever HS Boys Wrestling IHSA State appearance, 3 HS Boys Wrestlers in the Top 25 (CPS Wrestling), MS 5/6th Grade Boys Area 2 Champions, MS 7/8th Grade Flag Football Area 2 Champions. In my tenure at CMSA as Athletic Director I built a sports program that was nonexistent to a premiere championship program in Chicago Public Schools Sports Programs. I had the opportunity and pleasure to be signed as a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Chicago Math and Science Academy. My passion after playing professional football led me to work with inner-city youths. During my time in the NFL, I also had a chance to play in NFL Europe, in Berlin, Barcelona, and Amsterdam. In 2002 my dreams came true and I had the opportunity and privilege to be signed by then head coach, John Fox of the Carolina Panthers. While at Northern, I earned my degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education. In 1997, I earned an athletic scholarship to Northern Illinois University to play football. ![]() A two sport (Football, Basketball), 4 year letter winner.
